This winter,a road trip to Bhairabkunda was a surreal experience. It took us around two hours to reach this place. We took a small walk and settle down just near the river for picnic.
The scenery was amazing. The breathtaking natural beauty, marvelous landscapes and panoramic view of the rolling green hills would take your breath away.
It is a popular picnic spot of Assam. It is located at an elevation of 703 metres and very close to Daifam- a small Bhutanese town. Two rivers from Bhutan, Bharabi and Jampani merge here to form river Dhanshiri which again creates amazing view to watch. I couldn’t just have enough of the view.
The best part of this fun-filled tour was that we got to visit Bhutan and enjoyed diverse experience, all just in a short span of time.

1.Visit Bharaibkunda Shiva Temple
2.Take a walk on the suspension bridge in Bhutan.
3.Enjoy the scenic view around.
